Our Story

I’m Yeni Lopez, founder and principal accountant of Lopez Tax & Accounting. Growing up, financial literacy wasn't something my family talked about—frankly, we didn't even know the words. Navigating that confusion firsthand is exactly what motivated me to pursue an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting and dedicate my career to giving others the absolute clarity we lacked.

Today, I bring over a decade of deep accounting experience, including a rigorous six-year tenure at a specialized CPA firm, directly to small business owners and individual taxpayers. I handle the high-level complexities—from full-cycle bookkeeping and large-scale weekly payrolls to complex equity compensation and multi-state tax compliance—so you never have to feel overwhelmed by your numbers.

As a candidate for the IRS Enrolled Agent and Certified Fraud Examiner designations, and holding active real estate and notary public licenses, I don’t just log your past numbers; I provide an all-in-one protective shield to help you legally minimize your tax liability and confidently build your legacy.
